The Visual Arts Program of Arts Afield provides a variety of workshops in different locations in the world. 

The Director of the Program is Sandra Kaplan, a nationally recognized artist and gifted instructor. She graduated from the Pratt Institute with Honors and has served as a selection panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts and is currently on the Board of Directors of Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, Colorado. She is a gifted instructor who is on the faculty of the Art Students League of Denver and has extensive experience teaching painting to all levels of students, including other professional artists. She is widely recognized for her skills in both water color and oil. Her current style is best described as “conceptual realism” and she has been featured in the New York Times and many other publications. Painting Workshops:

The following painting programs are scheduled. All involve a variety of mediums and are open to students at all levels of experience. Non-painting family members and friends may join the artists.
